The Trevor Project is the leading national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth. These magical three words ‘YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL’ can motivate many of the teens out there who are struggling with their self identities. Teens who are unable to accept themselves for who they are due to teasing and bullying by others. Teens that feel inferior, and have low self esteem. If those teens that are bullied due to their sexual orientation can have the mind set that they are beautiful, that they do not lose out to the rest just because they are different, they would have the courage and confidence to live through the bullying and the darkest parts of their lives. ‘IT GETS BETTER ‘, life will get better eventually these teens have a future ahead of them waiting for them to live and discover! They do not deserve to be discriminated because they are different because they are homosexual, and most importantly they do not deserve to feel terrible about themselves they do not deserve to feel ‘ugly’ inside. If everyone is able to see the beauty in others and STOP discrimination , we might be able to save many lives !
Even these talented people were once bullied for being ‘homosexual’, however, they managed to walk out of the dark traces of their past and have now embraced their true identity and have found true happiness. One of the man in the video mentioned that when he gets home he gets to hug and kiss his husband and that is the greatest thing ever. He is contented with something so simple, a loving greeting from his loved one.Why should there be discrimination against these people just because of their ‘sexual orientation’. They are very beautiful people on the inside after watching this video I feel like giving these wonderful people featured in the video a big hug of encouragement . These people have been so brave to come out and talk about what horrible things they used to face previously, it may be a traumatizing past for them but they talked about it help gay teens that are being bullied right now. What rights do we have to discriminate these people, what do we have that are better than then them to give us the rights to discriminate against them? are we as brave as them? would we have the courage to stand strong and firm against all odds just to be our-self and just to be with the one we love? If these people did not manage to go live through their darkest moments where they were bullied, there may not be the AWESOME PIXAR that produces our animated movies!!!

The articles that I have linked to the names above are articles of Youths who took their own lives due to bullying. They were bullied because they were ‘homosexual’ and the bullying led to them committing suicide at their tender ages. These Youths have a bright future ahead of them , they have a long way to go , however, because of ‘bullying’ they lost the chance of living their LIVES to the fullest. Bullying brings down one’s self -esteem and can make one feel terrible about themselves feel unloved , uncared for , and even unworthy. Bullying makes one feel bad about oneself and in these cases, the bullying that occurred happened due to their ‘sexual orientation’ , something they have no choice over. These Youths were bullied because they were homosexual, they feel terrible because they are unable to ‘fit in’ and is unable to come to terms with themselves being different from others and being bullied for something they have no choice and no control over would feel horrible. Imagine being teased and bullied for being different , Imagine being bullied for your nationality or your race, these are some of the things we have no choice over and have to learn how to accept. Being able to accept ourselves when we are different from others require a lot of love, support, care and guidance from people around. These teens were probably feeling confused about their ‘sexuality’, at that young age, what they need would be support and encouragement for them to be able to accept their differences from the rest accept themselves for who they are. However, the teens in these suicide cases not only did not get the support they needed, they were ‘bullied’ , teased and insulted by their schoolmates.The links I have given are just some of the examples of teens that commit suicide due to bullying for being homosexual, however, i believe there are many other similar stories out there and there are many other gay teens out there waiting to be helped and rescued from the bullying.This gay teen bullying issue has taken the attention of the media and many have spoken up to help encourage the YOuths to fight on , and endure . If you and I play a part in STOPPING DISCRIMINATION against homosexuals, many young lives can be saved.
Love that perseveres through the ‘hostility’ others put them through , the ‘unacceptance’ by society, and even family and friends that is TRUE LOVE ~ and TRUE LOVE is BEAUTIFUL~

The homosexuals suffer from discrimination, injustice, insults , rape, and many other horrible things.
Therefore, take the first step to help change the circumstance and the plight the homosexuals are in by first changing your attitudes towards homosexuals. Remove negative feelings towards homosexuals , subsequently your behavior will change and towards the end … DIRECTIONS, LIVES, POLICIES , VOICES can be CHANGED AS WELL. Therefore, it all starts with a simple changing of attitude and reducing the negative attitude you have towards homosexuals to make GREAT CHANGES in the WORLD.
Some people claim that they discriminate against homosexuals as THE BIBLE SAYS SO. However, after reading this post I realised that the bible also forbids other things which are very common in today’s world . Lets talk about pre-marital sex, according to the 2005 CDC Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance , 46.8% of the high school students reported that they have sex before. This is a large figure, with this many students having premarital sex,many women will not be virgins when they get married. Does this mean they are sinners that should be discriminated against? If it is so why are they not discriminated against? If it is not so, why are the homosexuals being discriminated against?
